For the 2022-2023 we have implemented a Google Workspace for SMA. This will allow those that like the collaboration features and students coming from schools familiar with the Google environment to transition more smoothly to using Microsoft and Apple tools which are more prevalent at SMA, college and beyond.
This environment is live now and those that have accounts have already been notified via email of their login/passwords. Go to https://drive.google.com with the account information that was sent.
Important Note: Some features of Google Workspace are disabled and will likely not be available like Gmail, Classroom, Hangouts, Chrome, etc. as well as 3rd party Apps that allow quick sign-ins using the Google login. We already have other standard tools already in place (Outlook. Schoology, Teams, Edge/Firefox/Safari, etc.).
Finally, Google should never be used as primary folder/file sharing for faculty and staff.
