Graduates who purchased their SMA iPads can erase them at any time, as they have been released from the school system. Remember, as you set it back up, DO NOT select restore from backup, as it will attach the iPad right back to the school system.
If while setting your iPad back up, you encounter either the screen to add it back to St. Mary's Academy for management or an activation lock message prompting for the email/password that is something like *****@*****.org, that you don't recognize, you will need to bring your iPad to the school to have Tech Help complete the process. Send an email to Tech Help to arrange a time to visit.
Note: If you purchased the iPad from a former student or family member, please contact them to arrange the removal of the activation lock, as we will only remove it on their behalf.
