Parents & Students*
The process is a little tricky as you must know the username and email address. Parents would have chosen their username whereas students were assigned a username (usually below the schedule you were emailed). If either your username or email address are wrong when you attempt to reset your password you will not receive an email at all. There is no prompt if either one is incorrect after entering the information.

- If the information you submitted matches what is in the system you should receive a reset email link between 5-10 minutes (Email will come from no-reply@rackspace.powerschool.com. Check your inbox, spam, and/or junk folders).
- If you don't receive the reset email link within an hour, click the link again and choose the "Forgot Username?" tab. You should receive an email with your username between 5-10 minutes (check your inbox, spam, and/or junk folders). Then you can try resetting your password again.
If you still have not received the reset email link or email verifying your username then send Tech Help an email or click 'Submit a request" at the top right of this page. Include the email address and username you believe you have registered with the school. Please DO NOT include the password.
* In June 2023 PowerSchool changed the password policy for students such that they must now create their own password rather than it being assigned.
Faculty and Staff
Simply send Tech Help an email from their SMA account to request the information and we will email a temporary password that will bring up the change password screen.
