As part of your graduation process, we must notify you of a few things.
After June 30th the following SMA accounts will no longer be accessible to you and will be permanently deleted:
- SMA Computer Login
- Microsoft 365 Login (@smapdx.org) which includes OneDrive, Email, Teams, …
- SMA Managed Apple IDs (which are tied to Microsoft 365 accounts)
- SMA Google Accounts.
- All files on Jupiter (Z: and U: drives) will be deleted.
- Canva
- Any other accounts that are associated with or set up by the school.
Note: PowerSchool and Schoology accounts will be deleted sooner as they coincide with the end of the semester.
Your personal Apple iCloud account with the Apps and Subscriptions you purchased will continue to exist as it is your account.
If you have files that you would like to save from OneDrive, we recommend downloading them to a home computer or copying them to your personal Apple iCloud Files.
If there are files in Notability you would like to save, we recommend that you create an auto-backup for another account, such as Dropbox or Google Drive. DO NOT save it to your SMA OneDrive as it will cease to exist on June 30th.
If you have an email you want to save the best method is to install the Outlook Desktop application on your home computer and then copy the email to a file, you can access later.
Note: If you have colleges that you have been in communication with, be sure to let them know an alternate email address so they can continue to reach you. Any email sent to your SMA account beginning June 30th will be denied even if you set it up to forward. You can access your email via https://login.microsoftonline.com or the Web Portal on https://www.stmaryspdx.org until June 30th.
For your Remind account, you can remove yourself from the school at any time. We will also send out a message to everyone via Remind after school is out for everyone on whether or not to be removed from the school account.
Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions and extend beyond June 30th due to our software licensing agreements. Once again, when the accounts above have been deleted they will no longer be accessible either in July or in the future.
