Parents can now set up their SchoolCafe Family Hub account. This will give parents the ability to add funds to student accounts for Blues Café food purchases on campus using only their school ID badges. Note: Students do not have to sign up for a Family Hub account.
Students can now use their ID badges to purchase food from the Blues Café (if funds have been added to the account). They will still be able to use cash or credit card for the remainder of this school year as an alternative, but next year (2026-2027), SchoolCafe will be the only option.
Creating Your Account
Below are the instructions for creating your SchoolCafe Family Hub account.
- Go to https://family.schoolcafe.com/STMA
- Click Create a new account.
- Choose I'm a Parent and click Next.
- Enter your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and click Next.
- Set up a password, choose a security question, the answer to that security question.
- Check the box "I accept the Terms & Conditions" and click Create My Account.
- Once logged in, Click Add a Student.
- Enter the student ID number for Lunch Pin. If you don't know this 7-digit number that should begin with 100:
- This number is at the top of the student schedules that were sent out at the beginning of the school year.
- Ask your student for the number as they should know it.
- Email tech.help@smapdx.org and request the ID number for your daughter(s). Note: The email you send from should match what we have in the system for us to disclose that information.
- Click on School > St. Mary's Academy.
- Type the last name of the student.
- Click "Search & Verify".
- When your student appears, click Add this Student.
Once the above has been completed, you should be able to add funds to the account. You can also configure settings like low balance alerts, automatic payments, etc. See additional instructions below.
Managing Your Account
Once you have signed into your account either using the mobile App (see download links at the bottom of this page) or the website (https://family.schoolcafe.com/STMA), you have a number of options. Making a payment, set up automatic payments, and low balance alerts are the most popular. Below are the instructions when using the website.
Important Notes
- The maximum funds parents can add is $100 each time.
- Funds are not added in real time. There could be a delay of 20-30 minutes before the funds can be used by students.
- Other forms of payment (check or cash) to the account are not available at this time.
- The finance department will add funds each month to the student accounts that receive assistance with meals.
