By August 27th all parents that have been set up with a SchoolPass account should have received an email titled "Welcome to Schoolpass" from noreply-8306@schoolpass.com. We highly recommend you add this email address to your safe sender's list, so it doesn't wind up in Junk or Spam.
If you did not receive this email, make sure you have set up your parent PowerSchool account per the email instructions you received from either Liz Olsen or Tech Help the week of August 12th. If you set up your parent PowerSchool account but didn't receive the SchoolPass email (checking your Inbox, Junk/Spam folders), then email Tech Help (submit a request at the top right of this page) and they will investigate. Note: You will only receive the SchoolPass email if you have full or shared custody of a student.
So, you got the email and set up your account. Now what?!
When you have received the email and logged into the system here are a few tutorials to get you started on the App.

You can also access your SchoolPass account by going to the website https://stmaryspdx.school-pass.net. Some of the options may be named something a little different on the website. For instance, for early dismissals the option is "Schedule Early Dismissal" on the website but on the App the option is "Early Pickup". They do the same thing.
Note 1: You can ignore anything related to the "Carline" as we are not using that feature, but we can't remove it.
Note 2: DO NOT edit student absences for school days that are in the past as they will not synchronize correctly with the system. Only submit absences for future times/days/weeks. For instance, if you create an absence for a student on Monday, then on Tuesday you determine they will be out all week, DO NOT edit the one for Monday and saying it will last all week. Create one for Tuesday and extend that one for the rest of the week or create one for each day.
Note 3: If you want to submit supporting documentation for a student absence (doctor note, ...) it must be a PDF and can only be submitted using a web browser as it doesn't currently work with the App.
- If you have issues setting up your SchoolPass account, please let us know.
- If you have a student at another school that also has SchoolPass, make sure that your email account and password are exactly the same on both systems so you can toggle between the students.
- If you are having technical issues downloading the mobile App to your device please contact support@schoolpass.com.
- If you have questions about attendance, please email attendance@smapdx.org.
Troubleshooting
If you are having issues with submitting student absence information, try these steps:
- Check the SchoolPass status page to see if there are currently issues with their systems: Contact and Customer Support for SchoolPass
- Clear browser history, close the browser, then try again.
- Try saving and closing all work and rebooting the computer/device.
- If there are any computer/device updates install them and try again after rebooting.
- Try using the App instead from a mobile device. Or try the website if the App is the issue.
- If you are having a technical issue with the App or website, please contact support@schoolpass.com. Then contact attendance with the student absence information if ALL of these steps fail and/or you are waiting to hear back from SchoolPass support.
