Students can check out a school laptop, iPad, or portable battery to use on campus either for the day or during a block under these conditions:
iPads
- Can be checked out to be used anywhere on campus. Only a few are available, and they must be returned by 3:15 p.m. each day (or earlier on half days).
- Can be checked out using only name to open a ticket.
- Note: There may be days when no iPads can be checked out due to circumstances beyond our control.
Portable Batteries (USB-C only)
- Can be checked out to be used anywhere on campus. Only a few are available, and they must be returned by 3:15 p.m. each day (or earlier on half days).
- Can be checked out using only name to open a ticket.
- Note: There may be days when no portable batteries can be checked out due to circumstances beyond our control.
Tech Laptops
- Can be checked out to be used anywhere on campus. They must be returned by 3:15 p.m. each day (or earlier on half days).
- Must provide your student ID to be secured in the Tech Office until the laptop is returned.
- Note: There may be days when no laptops can be checked out due to circumstances beyond our control.

- Can you take the devices off campus? NEVER! NEVER! NEVER!
- What if the device is taken home or lost? Families will be charged the full replacement cost of the device.
- Can you use personal laptops on campus? Yes, if you are a Junior or Senior (or taking an online language class approved by Mrs. Sheridan or Mrs. Gilbert)! Ensure it is continually updated with the latest patches and anti-virus software. It must also be able to connect to Wi-Fi at 5GHz (or higher) using WPA3.
- Can you check out laptops from other classrooms like the Fab Lab? No. The Tech Office laptops are the only ones that students can check out.
- What am I allowed to do on the school laptop? Follow the same guidelines outlined in the Responsible Use Policy.
