School staff can now set up their SchoolCafe Family Hub account. This will give staff the ability to add funds to their account for the Blues Café food purchases on campus using only their school ID badges. Note: Staff will no longer be able to purchase items on credit (the big spreadsheet) beginning February 2nd.
January 27, 2026, will be the first day that everyone will be able to use their ID badges to purchase food from the Blues Café. They will still be able to use cash or credit card for the remainder of this school year as an alternative, but next year (2026-2027), SchoolCafe will be the only option.
Creating Your Account
Below are the instructions for creating your SchoolCafe Family Hub account.
- Go to https://family.schoolcafe.com/STMA
- Click Create a new account.
- Choose I'm an Employee of this District and click Next.
- The next two fields should be populated with "OR-Oregon" and "St. Mary's Academy". For School Name, start typing St. Mary's Academy and it should appear in a drop down. Select it and click Next.
- Enter your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and click Next.
- Set up a password, choose a security question, the answer to that security question.
- Check the box "I accept the Terms & Conditions" and click Create My Account.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email and click Verify.
- Once logged into the Dashboard, click the link to "Connect to My Cafeteria Account".
- Enter your School ID, the School St. Mary's Academy (like above), Last name, and click Find My Cafeteria Account. Important Note: Your School ID is the same one that is in PowerSchool. Here is how you can find it:
- In PowerSchool (Admin or PowerTeacher Pro), the number is listed under your Profile (top right) > Employee ID.
- Ask the front office staff to look it up.
- Send an email to the SMA Help Desk.
- Once your account is located, check the box verifying it is your account, and click Connect My Account.
Once the above has been completed, you should be able to add funds to the account. You can also configure settings like low balance alerts, automatic payments, etc. See additional instructions below.
Managing Your Account
Once you have signed into your account either using the mobile App (see download links at the bottom of this page) or the website (https://family.schoolcafe.com/STMA), you have a number of options. Making a payment, set up automatic payments, and low balance alerts are the most popular. Below are the instructions when using the website.
There is an App for both Apple and Google mobile devices you can download. Click link that corresponds to your device.
