Here are instructions for scheduling a meeting with a teacher using the Outlook App.
- Open the Outlook App.
- Click on Calendar at the bottom.
- Click on the New Event icon at the bottom left.
- Enter a Title for the meeting.
- Tap on People and first or last name type the name of the teacher you want to meet. Note: You can type a partial name and tap Search Directory.
- Select the teacher that will be part of the meeting.
- Tap the check mark at the top right when you are done adding the teacher.
- Select the date and time of the meeting.
- Note: Make sure you choose a date/time within the teacher's office hours which is typically 3:00pm - 3:30pm on most school days.
- Change the duration of the meeting to 15 minutes (which is the minimum).
- If you are meeting in-person, turn off the switch for Teams Meeting.
- Tap the check mark at the top right when you are done to send the meeting invitation.
- That's it! People will receive the meeting invitation and will accept or decline based on whether they can meet at that time.
