When you see the number in the red circle on the App Store icon then there are updates to the Apps on your iPad. These usually include new feature or bug fixes. You should install these updates. Typically Apps will automatically update when they are on a WiFi network and plugged into power. However, to update manually:
- Go to App Store > tap on your profile picture at the top right > Update All.
Important Notes
- On occasion, if you wait too long between updates, it may appear that you lose files when you finally do update. This is temporary as your files should reappear after updating.
- If you installed an App that was then restricted it may show as needing to be updated. Unfortunately it will remain that way until you graduate.
