There will be times that the batteries in the remote controls or the lamps in the projectors will simply stop working. When that happens here are some tips when the following are not working:
Remote Control for Projector or Screen
- "Spin" the batteries while still in the remote and see if it works.
- If there are 2 batteries try switching them and see if it works.
- If 1 & 2 both fail bring the old batteries to the Tech Office for recycling and retrieve new ones.
Remote Control for Apple TV
- These are rechargeable by simply using an iPad lightning charging cable. If you don't have yours available you can drop off the remote to the Tech Office to be charged (we do not check out chargers for this purpose).
Projector Lamps
- Typically the display of a projector will become very dim shortly before it fails. When it has failed you should see a red light next to "Lamp" on the projector. In both cases let Tech Help know what room is having the issue.
If you have any questions about the above your can Submit a request at the top right of this page or contact Tech Help vie email or Tech Help line.
