Occasionally there is an issue where you try to share a note in Notability to Outlook and an error appears stating “Setup Needed. Please open the Outlook app before continuing.” Here are the steps to fix that issue when a power off and back on doesn’t work:
- In Notability, go to Share the note (You may be able to choose Quick Share as well).
- When the options appear on the destination for the sharing swipe all the way to the right and select More.
- Choose Outlook.
Assuming the Outlook window appears then the issue should be fixed. Now the quick menu option for Outlook should work from now on. Note: This fix will likely resolve the issue in other Apps if it appears.
