There are three main versions of Notability.
- Notability - free version which has 5GB of iCloud storage.
- Notability Plus - paid subscription option allowing more iCloud storage based on your iCloud storage plan.
- Notability for Organizations - same as the Notability Plus plan but there is no subscription cost as the licenses are distributed by the school.
The updates to Notability are typically done automatically. When Notability is updated from the App Store, it can change the version on the iPads to the free version, which will prompt you to pay for the subscription.
